What Is Taradene?
We believe the customer must see a tangible value to the work we do. We and you both have to gain from our relationship; it must be a "win-win" situation. When we looked for something to embody that concept, we ran into this:
taarradhin [tah-rah-deen] (noun)
Arabic has no word for "compromise" in the sense of reaching an arrangement via struggle and disagreement. But a much happier concept, taarradhin, exists in Arabic. It implies a happy solution for everyone, an "I win, you win." It's a way of resolving a problem without anyone losing face.
- from Christopher J. Moore's book "In Other Words: A Language Lovers Guide to the Most Intriguing Words Around The World" (Walker Books, October, 2004)
The concept of taarradhin fit our philosphy exactly, so we Anglocized the word to taradene and (hopefully) made it easier to spell and pronounce.
We hope the meaning fits you, too. You can contact us as 502.802.7841 or at
